KPMG Czech Republic has been strengthened by the appointment of a number of new partners. Monika Vítová and Milan Bláha have been appointed new partners in the Audit department, while Radek Halíček and Jon Mortimer have been appointed partners in the Tax and Financial Advisory Services departments respectively.


Monika Vítová has become a partner in the Audit department at KPMG Czech Republic. She joined KPMG Czech Republic in 1997. She has been responsible for audits and audit related services provided mainly to clients operating in the telecommunications, TV broadcasting and software industries, but also to clients in the chemical industry and utilities sector.

She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague in 1997. She is a member of ACCA and a Czech statutory auditor.

Monika’s biggest hobby is her two little sons. In addition, she enjoys reading, going to the theatre and travelling.



Milan Bláha has become a partner in the Audit department at KPMG Czech Republic. He focuses on clients in the leasing, retail and automotive sectors. In recent years, he has been active also in the Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) group. In the AAS group, Milan specialises in providing crisis advisory services to CFOs.

In 2001 Bláha was promoted to manager and in 2004 to senior manager. He has been actively involved in various internal processes, namely as a training coordinator and deputy group manager.

In 1995, Bláha graduated from the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno, Faculty of Business and Economics. He joined KPMG Czech Republic in 1995 and is a certified tax advisor and auditor. He speaks fluent English as well as German and therefore enjoys providing services to German-speaking clients.

His hobbies include sports, travelling and gardening. He spends most of his free time with his wife and their two children, Anička and Toník.



Radek Halícek has become a partner in the Tax department at KPMG Czech Republic with responsibility for banking sector, financial institutions and international taxation. Halícek specialises primarily in structuring, acquisitions, and tax planning projects in the financial and real estate industries. He also leads tax litigation projects.

Prior to joinig KPMG Czech Republic in 2006, Halícek worked for Arthur Andersen and White&Case.

He graduated from the Law Faculty at Charles University and from the Transport Faculty at the University of Pardubice. One of his main hobbies is sport flying.



Jon Mortimer has become a partner in the Financial Advisory Services department. He specialises in Corporate Finance and Transaction Services engagements and has been actively involved in numerous buy-and-sell-side, valuation and due diligence engagements in a number of different industries.

After two years with the private equity firm CDC Equity Partners in London, Mortimer joined KPMG Czech Republic as a manager in the Financial Advisory Services department in 1999. He was promoted to senior manager in 2003 and director in 2007. During his time at KPMG Czech Republic, he has helped the Financial Advisory Services department grow from some four people to currently 22 individuals.

Mortimer has also been group manager of the Financial Advisory Services department responsible for, among other areas, recruitment, training, budgeting, as well as Quality Performance Reviews for Corporate Finance for the entire Central and Eastern European region.

Mortimer gained his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics in 1990. He began his career at Arthur Andersen in London, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1995.

Jon's hobbies include playing golf, snowboarding, fitness and spending time with friends and family.
