As a result of new legislation, risk management has become an important part of our advisory services for the banking and insurance sector. Validation of internal rating models in banks that use sophisticated methods to manage credit risk and projects relating to the operating risks in banks and insurances houses represent a great business opportunity.
Stěpán Onder was born in Prague and obtained a post-graduate diploma in finance at the University of Economics in Prague. Before he joined KPMG Czech Republic in October 2005, he worked at PwC as a senior consultant for Basel II. Prior to that he worked for five years as a risk manager at GE Capital Bank specialising in credit and operating risk, two years as a senior manager for treasury and credit risk at ING Leasing, two years as an interest rate risk and liquidity specialist at KoB and four years at SkoFIN as a retail risk manager.
Stěpán brings with him a wealth of experience in risk management, particularly in the area of banking and leases.
Stěpánas hobbies include tennis, skiing and he also likes listening to classical music.
