Message From the Managing Partner
Dear students and graduates,
As you are about to graduate or graduated already, you will soon have to make some important decisions concerning your future working careers. Many of you already have experience of working in companies in the Czech Republic and abroad, which has given you an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice. Most of you are now about to embark on your "real" working careers at a time when more and more opportunities are opening up for you. For example, the number of job opportunities has increased as a result of the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. In this fast-growing and competitive environment KPMG Czech Republic has managed to retain its position as one of the most attractive employers, a position that it has held for many years, according to the annual statistics on recruitment and employee satisfaction.
KPMG Czech Republic belongs to a select group of dynamic auditing and professional services companies with international know-how. Having 750 employees, it is one of the major companies in the Czech marketplace. However, the number of employees is not the main key to our success. Our long-term growth and the satisfaction of our clients is based primarily on the quality of our work. We are also proud that today many former employees of KPMG Czech Republic hold senior managerial positions in manufacturing and financial services companies.
We are also pleased that we have developed quality local employees who have gradually replaced our expatriate employees and many of whom have achieved managerial positions. Currently many local employees are on long-term assignments, during which they have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and improve their practical knowledge of foreign languages.
I would like to wish all of you success in completing your studies and as you set out on your working careers and I look forward to working with those of you who decide to take up a demanding, but rewarding career with KPMG Czech Republic.
