Acquire practical experience during your studies – internship is an excellent opportunity for your personal growth
Are you interested in audit, tax advisory or advisory work? Are you unsure about which direction to take after your studies? You will have the opportunity to put your theoretical university knowledge into practice and gain an insider’s view of professional life. Every year, university students are hired to professional internships within the KPMG Internship Programme (KIP). Fifteen to twenty students are hired, depending on the engagement capacity needs.

Our internship offer
This year university students are offered internships in all departments of the KPMG Prague office (Audit, Tax Services, Advisory Services). The offices in Brno, Ceske Budejovice, Liberec and Ostrava offer internships in the Audit Commercial Department. When filing an application, the applicant should be at least a third-year university student and a fourth or fifth-year university student when joining KPMG Czech Republic.
KIPs usually start at the end of August. The start dates of KIPs in the Financial Advisory Services and the Risk Advisory Services Departments are agreed individually, throughout the year, based on the needs of these departments.
Internships last three to seven months, and usually start in September and end in March of the subsequent year.
KIPs work part-time, according to their study needs and based on the agreed engagement work, which always depends on an individual agreement of the student with the team. KIPs work on real projects and take part in client negotiations with more experienced colleagues. Like assistants, they are full members of the team.

What do our KIPs have to say about their experience?
The experience from the Risk Advisory Department helped develop my analytical skills, through which I am able to resolve even the toughest business problems. Risk advisory is never routine, and you have to learn new things all over again.
